STELLA RUAN

content creator & lotus enthusiast
Born in China, having lived in Romania, UK and currently based in Shanghai.
Stella Ruan is a multidisciplinary designer whose practice and works is inspired
by the various different cultures she was previously and currently immersed in.
Her early works, gravitating towards a visual arts background, stems from her
personal experiences as a chinese immigrant in europe. This became a starting point
for her enthusiasm to study and examine her own cultural identity as well as the
multiple different cultural landscapes she roams in. In her personal life, she has been
devoted to content creating for four years, creating content relating to lifestyle,
fashion, filmmaking and art education.At present, she is a second year student studying
BA Design at Goldsmiths, University of London with a passion towards filmmaking and
graphic design. In school, she has been creating numerous projects dedicated to the
present social climate.Although she believes a designer’s practice will always evolve
and grow, Stella wishes to become a new breed of creative and sees herself
developing in industries relating creative directing and visual communication.
